Siyo, my name is K.R Sogueco (Keisha). I am a self-taught freelance photographer and multidisciplinary artist from the Qualla Boundary, with 14 years of experience in the arts. Currently residing in Tsisgwohi, I am a proud member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and Anigilohi. My work draws inspiration from my Cherokee, Filipino, and Cataloochee heritage, exploring themes of nature, community, family, self-love, and social awareness. Each piece tells a story deeply rooted in cultural identity and personal experience. Through my art, I aim to empower and inspire others to embrace and celebrate their own narratives.
